Deleting a Scene and Marking a Scene for Deletion
The system provides for two types of actions – simple deletion of a scene and marking for deletion. To delete a scene, mark it for deletion, or remove a mark for deletion, click the button in the drop-down menu at the end of the scene row on the “Scenes (stripboard)” page.
Select the appropriate option in the pop-up menu.
In case of a simple deletion of a scene from the system, the data will be deleted permanently, and it will be impossible to restore the scene in the future. However, the system will not allow to delete a scene already employed in the shooting schedule.
Marking for deletion is used to see the scenes that have been removed from the script during the production of the picture, for instance, during the first reading.
A scene can be marked for deletion, only if it has not already been marked as actually shot.
Scheduled scenes marked for deletion will be shown in the shooting schedule, but their parameters will be crossed out.
In the list of scenes, the status of all scenes marked for deletion will be “deleted”.
You can remove the mark for deletion and add these scenes back to the schedule anytime.
