Linking the Project from the Scheduling Module

If you already have a project in the Scheduling module, you can use it to add a cost estimate in the Budgeting module by importing data, e.g. a list of actors, sets, resources, their cost and number of shooting days.

In addition, during the shooting period, you can import shooting day accruals.
To do this, you must initially link the project on the project settings page or in the Cost Estimate menu.

To link a project through the settings, go to the Parameters page and click Link in the Link a Project from Scheduling Module block. A project can be linked by a user who both has access to the project in the Scheduling module and the Super-Administrator role in this project in the Budgeting module.

Select a project from the drop-down list and save it.

To link a project on the Cost Estimate page, right-click the item you want to import data into and select Import from Scheduling Module.

You will see a similar window. Specify the project and click Save. Next, you will proceed to data importing.

After the projects are linked, you can import items to the cost estimate. Learn more about this feature in this module.

Import of actual shooting day costs (accruals) is described in detail in this module.

If you want to unlink projects, go to Settings and click Unlink. Please note that deleting the link does not affect the previously imported data, it will remain in your project.
